The Krewe of Orion's 11th annual Mardi Gras parade rolled in downtown Baton Rouge on Saturday, February 6, 2010, at 6:30 p.m. With a theme of "Love Is In The Air". Parade goers were treated with exciting, colorful traditional lighted and tractor-pulled floats. Masked and costumed riders threw plenty of themed parade and float medallions, Krewe of Orion signature footballs, cups, plush animals, Orion swords and doubloons, lighted throws, and beads. Marching bands and riding and marching units added great sights and sounds to this wonderful family-oriented parade.
